Ukraine Travel Safety Guide

This is not routine leisure travel. Active war conditions mean missile and drone strikes can affect cities far from front lines, including major hubs.

Travel advice remains against travel to most or all of the country depending on the authority. Normal tourist planning assumptions do not apply.

Air travel into Ukraine is not functioning like a normal tourism destination. Most foreign visitors who enter do so overland and should expect delays, document checks, and disruption.

Power outages, curfews, sirens, and infrastructure damage can all alter plans with little notice.

If your trip is not essential, treat postponement as the practical choice. Insurance, consular access, and evacuation assumptions may fail in a conflict setting.
